Bankers
The university's continued affilation with the Sheffield Bankers HC allows players of any level the chance to play competitive Yorkshire and Northern Premier league Saturday hockey.
The Bankers have 9 mens teams and 2 womens teams, with most of the 11 teams captained by players from the university. The Bankers play their hockey at the Goodwin astro pitches on Saturdays and train on Thursdays at 8:15 during the week. Combined with university hockey and any intra-mural hockey, it is possible to play every day of the week.
How to Join
During the sports bazaar in freshers week, look for the stand next to the hung-over people in yellow. These fine men in blue will advise you on the times of trials and socials.
